Before I officially stop coming to this blog, I've realised that the exco didnt really post something up after investiture. So, while revising, I took up a little bit of my time to post something, hoping that my words can encourage the new comm.

Being the EXCO means greater responsibilty, and of course, being the group of people that the teacher would always trust, and scold. I hope that during this process of taking over the board, it really helps the student leaders and EXCO to learn more, esp. working in a team. Many have their own ideas, but, its a matter of how are you going to sit down peacefully and talk things out.

Blah, I think if i keep on saying, I dont have to revise anymore. Keep the good work going ^^

Heys!

Long time this blog is not updated. So since I have the time now to update, i shall update :D
Its been a long time since the Secondary One Orientation Camp has ended and I am pretty sure that all those SL whom has helped out feel a good sensation inside of them.

To Sec3 Sl,
This is just your beginning. There is more events that is waiting for you. Investiture is next. Please do us proud when the Sec4s leave. Whatever problems you guys have, don't feel bad to approach us. We will try to help you. Don't be frightened when you see us feeling sad, stress and angered last year. Yes, SL is very new to the school. It has been a year or so since it was first established. Continue the performance of the Student Leaders and make everyone who was once in here proud of what you guys can do.

To Sec4 SL,
This is our final year. Investiture is our last event, Lets make it memorable for every single one of us. the moment where we had to cry our hearts out to one another, or whatsoever. Lets make it memorable for us!

Just writing about this makes me feel emotional. Wonder what will be happenning during Investiture when we see the photostory. Everyone will cry de!

Ok, just a few updates here and there.

Thanks to the 10 ppl who went to the CDA Interview,PSS has _________________________. Lets wait for the result on Monday :DDDD or Tuesday :DDDD

Hi SL!

Thanks for coming down for the refresher course(for those who came).
Maybe some of you all might have forgotten some things, so, hope the course is useful ^^

The camp have not even started. We're only at the beginning, the planning part.
I hope that everyone will do their best in the camp, so as not to waste your effort and time, just to come to the camp and it's not at the best when we know that we can do it.
So, everyone, instead of not putting in your effort and not enjoy the camp, I'd rather everyone to put in their best and enjoy the camp to the maximum!! :D

Dear fellow student leaders.

I am appreciative of the volunteered student leaders whom have helped out in today Sec1 Registration Day. Like what Mr Fadhli says it went smoothly and I want to thanks everyone for helping out espeacially the 2 graduate SL and the 2 sec 2 Prefects. Thanks for helping out :D

It was hard for the Exco members to find student leaders whom are free. Thanks for picking up

Yesterday, about 12 Student Leaders attended Band Concert for duty. thanks to Shirley, Marilyn, Shermane, Syarifah, ShiHui, Maisarah, Eileen, Audrey, Ding Chao, Donovan, Marcus and Jason for helping out.

The Band was excellent and the quality of music they serve us was great to hear :DDD

Hahas, Emcees were not only great but also pretty. Praising own STUDENT LEADERS!

Mr Fadhli want to meet selected SL for a meeting about Sec 1 Registration and Sooc RC.

On 23 Dec '09, the SL committee needs 30 SL to help out in the Sec 1 Registration day.

I need 2 facils from each class to help out. That means we are going to need 18 facils,

Example: 1A = A,B,C,D . Either two facils need to volunteer :D

The rest of the 12 SL is volunteer. I already have some names :D

★Our 2009 Journey★

Here are two pictures which I think is the most memorable for me and my fellow student leaders.
The first pictures is our Ex Student Leaders the Secondary 4s.
They have put up so much effort to build up the first batch of Student Leaders and I think they did great. They were the one that organize the PreCamp Training and 2008 SL Training and St John Island. They did a great job at disciplining us in our behavior and our character. They were the one that build up a strong team for us to deal with. During the Investiture, I still can remember during the photo story, many of us teared as our sec 4s is going to graduate and the sec 3s is going to be the one leading. Tears of happiness, sorrowness and memories led us being so bonded with each other. Thanks Sec 4s, without you, the current SL would not be so strong as it would be.

Next picture is the whole of Student Leaders 2009.
Hahas, the future student leaders that is going to learn the ropes and build up a even stronger team when the sec 3s 09 step down next year. Approach us if you guys need any help and we will be warn heartedly halp you if you need any help :D Don't be shy, we were once student leaders and we will be pleased if you ask uh for help as one is never strong enough to build up a strong team. One need a stronger team to build up a strong team :D

For the SLs and prefects.
Maybe they might feel that it's kind of difficult to cope.
Trying to balance and be good in all- CCA, Studies and SL roles.
They've tried to be at their best, competing with the rest of the students.
And sometimes, when looking at the SLs perfoming their duties, I thought to myself.
Has it even occured to me that are they facing any difficulties?
Have i ever tried to sound them out?
Have i really did a good job?
Sometimes, i've also feel that im a failure in performing my job, as a head.
I give up at times too.
Im going to try. Forgive me if i fail, again.
In my heart, the SLs/prefects that have walked with me through Sec 2, Sec 3 or even next year, will be my number 1 outstanding SLs.

Ohyeah. Very classic hor. Hahaha! Okay lah. That's what i really feel luh. Want to come comfort me, come luh. I'll always welcome you. But anyway! Just a reminder....

For the Camp Comm, I've texted you guys already. Heyhey! Anything unsure come and ask me.

For SLs doing the Band concert duty, take note that ;

YTSA Camp(:

Hey there SLs.

On the 5th, 6th and 7th of June, 2 of our SLs; Alvis and Maisarah went to a camp, YTSA; Young Team Singapore Ambassador at Labrador Adventure Centre.

Both of us had fun at the camp. We learn about Olympics, Netball, Silat, Cheer and Photojournalism.

Both of us gain new experience as in adapting to new environment as both of us were in different groups. We learn cheers and silat.

We were taught by Singapore Poly Cheerleading Team , Gusto, on cheerleading stunts, cheers and jumps. We went to Silat Federation to learn silat. It was a once in a lifetime experience for the both of us. We learn about the Olympics Games. It was an all rounded camp. We gain knowledge, had fun and learn new experiences.

Punggol Student Leaders!! Let all Support Team Singapore for Asian Youth Games!!

Heyya!

Its time to mug hard yeah!
Exams officially starts next thurs, so:

New sessions for the NYA criteria.

13/11 (Thu) and 14/11 (Fri)
11am-12pm or 3pm-4pm

15/11 (Sat)
10am-11am or 12pm-1pm

Address, Ang Mo Kio Family Service Centre (AMKFSFC), Blk 229 and 230 Ground floor. All SL must know how to get there.

Easiest route to remember

- Take train/bus to Hougang MRT station

- Take bus 165 and alight at Ang Mo Kio pri school. AMKFSC is next door.

If you are not sure when to alight, you can check the fare stage no on the Ezylink card scanner. The fare stage no should be #9.

Inform either Chengkiat or Ashley which session you want to go.

P.S. Each session compromises only 15 SLs.

For those who already chose Monday's training session, you will need not choose again. Those people are Sandy, Karwong, Andy, Amanda, JuinnTat, Aries, Nicole, JinWah, Shermane, JieYing, Dorothy, Audrey, Sabrina, Zhenying and Serene.

This AMK training is one of the criteria stated in your National Youth Achievement Award. But before you train the little children there, the trainer have to train you first in order to let you train the small kids. There are some precautions and facilities you need to take note in the class, therefore, you'll need to go through this training first. Thus, you'll need to choose either one of the day. One day of Training would be enough for you so CHOOSE EITHER 13TH, 14TH, 15TH NOVEMBER.
